Beta #2 and Blog Guilt
Ok, I’m so ashamed of my blog-etiquette lately! I have literally not read anyone else’s blog in WEEKS! My Google Reader had like 3000+ and I had to say “mark all as read.” Plus, I haven’t been commenting or even returning comments. I always hate that at the moment I’m most being supported by my readers is when I’m usually so self-absorbed that I’m not reciprocating. Sigh. Please know you comments have meant so much to me and I’ll be back in the swing of things soon! (Especially huge thanks to Dionna who is doing a fabulous...

I had my first beta on Wednesday and it was 503 which is excellent! (they want over 100). I’m definitely feeling pregnant. My boobs are VERY sore and it hurts a little when Aellyn latches on (but on a side note: YEAH! for nursing through FET!!!). I have tiny pimples all over my face. I’m constipated. I’m nauseous. Everything smells weird. Yep, I’m knocked up! I had a dream that I had a boy. He was blonde and had blue eyes. I don’t think I’ve ever dreamed of having a boy before. Do you believe in mother’s intuition when it comes to...

Last night before we went to sleep DH kissed my abdomen goodnight. It was a sweet ending to a wonderful day! Yesterday morning I tested with FRER (First Response Early Result, a very sensitive kind of test) and go a clear wonderful line!! So, I posted on my message boards that I *might* be pregnant and got an overwhelming response of “two lines is two lines.” One person recommended I try a digital test because there is no room for error…so I left work and went to buy Clear Blue Easy digital HPT. You pee on it and the little window shows a little blinking hour glass, and...

**secret post; not to be published until after 6/9** Ok, so blogging has been for me one of the great joys of infertility. It is theraputic and I have made wonderful friends in the IF blogosphere. I also use it to communicate with family and friends so I don’t have to answer the same question 5,000 times. This can have a down side – sometimes I can’t post things because I know it will affect someone. Regardless of the outcome I will publish this after 6/9′s beta. Yesterday, after I got home from my ordeal at the bank I looked at the pregnancy test I had taken that...

I’m thinking a lot about my beautiful embies inside me. Sometime between 48 hours and 72 hours after ET (that’s today or tomorrow) my embryos will hatch and begin to implant! I try to envision them doing this successfully and thriving. My 8-cells have been multiplying rapidly and eventually make a blastocyst (if you will remember my panic over not transfering on day-5). A blastocyst is an important stage in embryo development because it is the first stage where we see differentiation. In other words, before blastocyst every single cell had the ability to become a whole...
