Tale of 2 Heartbeats
That’s right, TWO heartbeats! We are having twins! I’m sooooo excited and am so blessed! A decade of barrenness and now a bloom of family! I’m reading and learning so much about twin pregnancy which is SO different from singleton pregnancy advice so I’ll post more soon. I go back again on Friday for another u/s because baby B was difficult to measure. I’ll post pics and more information! Thank you God!
Read MoreBeta #2 and Blog Guilt
Ok, I’m so ashamed of my blog-etiquette lately! I have literally not read anyone else’s blog in WEEKS! My Google Reader had like 3000+ and I had to say “mark all as read.” Plus, I haven’t been commenting or even returning comments. I always hate that at the moment I’m most being supported by my readers is when I’m usually so self-absorbed that I’m not reciprocating. Sigh. Please know you comments have meant so much to me and I’ll be back in the swing of things soon! (Especially huge thanks to Dionna who is doing a fabulous...
Read MoreBeta Is In!
I had my first beta on Wednesday and it was 503 which is excellent! (they want over 100). I’m definitely feeling pregnant. My boobs are VERY sore and it hurts a little when Aellyn latches on (but on a side note: YEAH! for nursing through FET!!!). I have tiny pimples all over my face. I’m constipated. I’m nauseous. Everything smells weird. Yep, I’m knocked up! I had a dream that I had a boy. He was blonde and had blue eyes. I don’t think I’ve ever dreamed of having a boy before. Do you believe in mother’s intuition when it comes to...
Read More2 Pink Lines
So, obviously (an not at all surprising to most of you) I did not manage to wait until Friday to POAS. I dare say…that is two lines? A little darker today? I’d call that PREGNANT. Yes, I have a whole WEEK until my beta. But, today I’m pregnant and I am going to enjoy it as much as I can. Of course, today I’m “spotting” – TMI alert – actually it is more “pink tinged toilet paper” nothing red and nothing in my undies. I think this happened with Aellyn too. Basically the first trimester of pregnancy is a constant wing and a...
Read MoreReverence
What a weekend. On Friday we transfered 2 positively gorgeous hatching blastocysts! The embryologist said the “couldn’t look any more perfect.” She also thinks that one of them had two cell masses (more on that in a minute). On Saturday I turned 35. I’m praying my birthday present was implantation! So, here are my beauties with some explanation. First, most people I’ve shown this to says “It looks like it is dividing!” No, it is actually 100s of cells at this point and if you could see it in 3D it is a fluid-filled sphere. The reason...
