Tutorial of the Week:
I love this time of year in Ohio. The world just explodes with bright colors. This is the first year that Aellyn is really understanding “Fall”. She was on a walk with Daddy at the beginning of September when the first leaves fall but they are still green. She said “Look Daddy! Leaf fall down!” lol. I thought, oh girl, just you wait! This year she’s talking about halloween and going to the pumpkin patch and just wait till you see her costume (of course you can get a preview at my shop!)
Check out V and Co.’s great tutorial on making Wax Paper and Crayon Fall Leaves. Take a nature walk and pick the best with your little one and then make the leaves together. We went on a short one the other day with Aellyn’s new Nature Walk Collection Bag! I made this out of eco-felt and I needle felted the leaf applique. It is $12.e said “look Daddy! Leaf fall down.” I just thought…oh you wait, honey. It gets better than this!
