…later. Sorry for the brief post. I was literally so happy I couldn’t speak. Beta tests measure HCG in your blood (whereas HPT’s measure it in your urine). The numbers are very variable but we were hoping for something around 100 at 15dp3dt (15 days past 3 day transfer). 150 Would have been wonderful. Over 200 hundred would have had me over the moon. 512? Never even entered my collective conscious! The nurse said I am “very pregnant.” I know that sounds weird because even at 100 I would have been pregnant. From what I understand this just means that my bab(ies) are well entrenched. It leaves the possibility open of twins – something I know many of you are praying for. I’m just glad that how ever many are in there seem to be going strong.
2nd beta next Monday (not sure why they don’t do a 72 hour check, maybe because the number was high?). 2 and 1/2 weeks until ultrasound where we will be able to hear a heartbeat. After that I get to be a “regular pregnant lady” and find an OB!
Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers. DH and I both really felt the tangible effects of your love that was being sent our way. We could feel the team of supporters behind us the whole time.
